Sharpham Sparkling Pink 2015

A dry, savoury traditional method sparkling wine with aromas of strawberry yoghurt, peach cobbler and orange peel. The palate is lean and layered with flavours of pink grapefruit, strawberry and Aperol, with a complex and textured finish from lees aging.

Wine Making

Whole berry pressed at a tonne at a time, followed by racking to ferment at 14.5 degrees centigrade until dry. The wine then matures over the winter before being blended in preparation for bottling in the traditional method and spending 72 months on the lees.
