Our first ever 'Cider' is made in the traditional method and consists of apples, apples and some more apples. Nothing else. Lightly sparkling with crunchy, earthy apple characters and some gentle tannin.
When we moved to the Sandridge Barton Estate, we inherited a couple of orchards. Rather than let the apple go to waste, or fall to the hands of Devon’s notorious ‘Scrumpers’, we thought we’d put them to good use.
For the perfect Devon pairing, we're adding a wedge of the iconic Quickes Mature Cheddar, a traditional clothbound Devon cheese with a history dating back to 1540!
Handcrafted using milk from our grass-fed cows, clothbound and naturally matured, typically for 12 months, this rich and buttery cheddar offers outstanding depth of flavour, which develops as it reaches the back of the palate.
